Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are multi-potent cells in the body that can differentiate or change into tissues such as bone, cartilage or muscle.

How does it work?

When an injury or trauma occurs, MSCs are recruited to the area of injury where their primary function is to heal injured tissue. These cells work together with growth factors as well as the existing cells and tissue to initiate an elaborate healing process. This complex process helps regenerate and restore healthy tissue in order to alleviate pain.

Stem cells were discovered over 40 years ago when researchers found that cells derived from bone marrow had the ability to form various tissues.
